We offer weekly afterschool art classes for children aged 7–12, designed to nurture the creative potential of every student and complement the primary school curriculum. Classes are available at Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh in Knocknacarra.

Bookmaking & Collage
Photography & Printmaking
Origami & Clay
We offer a range of projects to stimulate imagination and nurture curiosity. Students are involved in co-designing these projects, giving them a voice in shaping activities that cater to their individual interests and needs. Art techniques and materials range from drawing and collage to photography, painting, printmaking, clay, origami, and seasonal crafts, there's something for everyone.
We value a cross curricular approach to learning and projects often include art history references and connect other subjects such as Science, Technology, History, Geography, Math, and English creating a well-rounded educational approach.
Students will often take home tangible creations, but they may also engage in thoughtful observation and discussion, leaving with new ideas. Most importantly we aim to send them home with something in their hearts... a lifelong love of learning and being creative!
Encouraging creative thinking can boost children’s self-esteem and motivation. Through exploration and artistic expression, they gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and their role in it. Please don’t underestimate the value of providing your child with this incredible opportunity!
